Note: I am using Chrome Version 47.0.2505.0 Canary (64-bit)
After a quick panic, I couldn’t seem to find the ‘search all’ in chrome developer tools. This is undoubtedly on the short list of my favorite CDT (Chrome Developer Tools) features. When looking in the source tab, I pressed escape to pull up the console, and the search tab was nowhere to be found.
This was followed by another, more prolonged panic, after I couldn’t find any information on a quick Google search on the issue. I know using Chrome Canary, it is the risk you take, but the nerd in me likes being cutting edge, and that is probably the largest risk in life I take (yes, sad).
Still in panic, I look around the newly designed dev tools and look for all option menus available, and see the 3 dot menu on the right side of CDT, and guess what? …
Voila, it is back. Now I can find that important function call, css selector or semantically suave HTML tag I was looking for!
